comin' up for a bit of air

Hi, hello there, my name is Angela, nice to meet you!

Teehee, just kidding, I figured it had been so long since I posted, I should introduce my shabby self.

To be quite honest I've really been struggling with this whole blogging thing for a while, as I'm sure you can see, if there is anybody still out there.
But I do still want to, that's the thing, I just don't feel like there's anything to be said. This blog started out to be for our adoption, and yes, we are still adopting, it's just taking a wee bit (insert sacrasm here) longer than we had planned for. As pretty much all of you know, and have at times felt the same way.
Anyway, I truely feel like this is our year, and I know it is the year for many of you, and especially the girls that I've had the pleasure of meeting in person. I do keep up on all of your blogs, I just don't comment a whole lot. And I am stalking RQ (although not as much as you are) I'm excited to see how far this next bach of referrals will go. So anyway to fill some of you in who are not on this crazy ride, As of today, the CCAA has referred up through March 2, 2006. We are April 5, 2006. Yes, if you just look at it, it seems so close, but they are only getting through days at a time, sometimes only a couple, so in the big picture it could still be another year. I don't want to even think that way though, so I'm being positive, and sending good vibes to who ever it is in charge over there.

On another note, my kitchen is almost done! We got the knew cabinets in November, I just put down the new tile floor, and backsplash, I really want to post pictures, but it's still got a few things to go before I reveal the biggest remodel job we have done to date, and there's been ALOT! I LOVE IT!!!

Well, what do y'all think about AI this year? I don't particularly like the way the judging/voting is going, 9 people out of twelve are gone in just one night??? Even if there is someone really great like Danny from last week, if people forget to vote, then that's it. I meant to vote last week, but forgot, I was sweating it while watching to see if he made it!
I was watching tonight with my DH, and asked him if he thought one of the guys looked like someone else, and he totally agreed, he didn't think of it before, but when he started singing, he said that it was soooo them, as in the same
person. What do y'all think?

Adam Lambert from this year (I voted for him tonight)

Kimberly Caldwell from (I think) the second season

These photos don't show the similarities as much as if you see him live/on T.V. Especially when he smiles, he looks JUST like her!

I don't know when the next time I will post, but I will try to more often, can't make promises though!!! Take care!

Hi Angela,

It has been a long time since we have talked. I'm Susie, I met you in Georgia. My blog used to be Phillips path to china, but I had a bit of problems with that. I have since moved on to my current blog. I check in on you once in a while and I'm glad you have posted. I was unsure about the blogging as well when my other blog was crashed...now I've decided to go ahead with it for a record for our baby. Our lid was 8/11/06. I'm glad yours is coming soon! Take care.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Adam Lambert!! OMG!! To me, he looks lust like a young Elvis! Those eyes and the hair, goodness!! And he did a great job last night too. I thought it was kinda funny when he was done and it came time for the judges comments, both Paula & Kara just sat there. Like, whew!! That was hot! I think he's the one to watch this year! Tell the girls Auntie Corinna loves them.

It's about time lady!! I look for updates every day! :) Usually when I need a break from work. It's totally your year this year. I predict November because, frankly, the best babies come in November. :) Give my girls kisses for me and tell Lily I'm eating some our her girl scout cookies for breakfast. (They're the lemon ones, so it's fruit!)

I'd love it if you wanted to link to my blog. I don't know if you heard about Tawni. She adopted domestically I believe almost 1 year ago. She's been a very busy mom since then. It was great to hear from you!
