It's a LOVE/HATE relationship!
O.K. I have come to the realization that I am not in my teens (or my 20's for that matter) anymore, and I figured it was time to say bye, bye to my long hair. A couple of weeks ago I went to a salon spent $60.00 on this hair cut, and I am still trying to decide if I even like it.
My hair is naturally curly, and I have had it long for so many years, I am so used to just washing it, and letting it dry by itself, but now I have to blow it dry, then use a big curling iron, it takes a while, but I really do like it when it is fixed this way! The only problem is, it's just not as easy anymore, and I tried to let it dry by itself, just to see, and I hate it curly now. Anyway, knowing me I will keep it this way until it grows out, and then go back to the curly thing. But then again, who knows!

I love it! I might not have seen it before, but I love this!
You are gorgeous!
It always takes a few days to adjust to a new hair cut!
Enjoy the blog...

I really like your haircut. I wish I could get my hair to look like that.
well, my hair is naturally curly as well, and I had it long. I cut it off in Jan, had it highlighted and lowlighted...and she STRAIGHTENED it for me. I fell in love with straight hair. I just can't get it straight myself.
I love how you look here. Beautiful style for a beautiful woman. Try the highlights sometime. Those REALLY made me feel young again. :D
I love it! I have been growing my hair out for over a stinkin' year. Mine takes FOREVER to grow!
Looks great!!!
Looks great this way, but we need the "before" picture to really see the change :) Just curious -- How long was it? How much was cut off?
Total stranger here, but I have wicked curly hair, and I know how long it can take to straighten that stuff with a curling iron, even a really good one. This probably isn't new information for you, but have you tried a ceramic straightening iron? It used to take me upwards of two hours to get my hair totally straight, but with the ceramic iron I can go from wet to stick straight in under 30 minutes. Granted, my hair is quite a bit shorter than yours, but I guarantee it'll shave some time off for you.
Just a suggestion. You have beautiful hair, btw. Good luck adjusting to the cut!
yes, that is what I have, I can straighten it right out of the shower. Coming from it only taking maybe 2 minutes to fix the other way, 30 minutes seems like forever. Plus, I have occasional problems with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and it is starting to hurt my hand to fix it this way, Ugh I'm getting OLD!
You look beautiful!
I like it, but knowing you, I agree, you'll let it grow out, leave it curly a few years and then do it all over agian. Try Skinny Straight Shampoo and Conditioner from Paul Mitchell. Your hair will be pretty flat in a few days.
