Extreme Makeover, Den edition

I know I've been a slacker lately, but I promise I will try to do better at posting! Like I had mentioned before, we are SLOWLY doing a little of a remodel around our house. I painted this room, our den probably a year ago, but we had not done much of anything else until recently, so I did not want to post pictures (except of our Christmas Tree) of this room, simply because I was embarrassed about the nasty carpet. But anyway, I'm almost done in here, just need to do a window treatment, hang a new ceiling fan, make some throw pillows for the couches, and hang pictures on the walls. Oh, and stain and put together the square coffee table I just got.
When I put the flooring down it REALLY made a difference, and it finally feels like home in here!
Take a look-sie at some before and after pics. I'm usually horrible about starting a room, and forgetting to take a before photo, so when we bought this house, before we even moved in I took pictures of every room, knowing full well, that each and every one was gonna get a make over!

MY NEW COUCH! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It is not as red/orange looking in person, it's a medium brown color. we were unsure about these when we saw them on Sams Club website just because of this, but they sent a sample, and it is a beautiful brown! Also, this is the first time we've ever gotten furniture (much less paying this price) from an online store without ever even sitting it it first. I searched all over for sectionals, and most of them just were not compfy, but this one, it is really soft, and well, LOVE IT!

Now, HOPEFULLY I'll be able to get more done soon, and post those pics too!

My big girl!

My computer is finally up and running, but still having some issues, such as videos, can't watch any on my computer, the whole box just shows white, nothingness! I could not even upload these photos into a slide show, same thing, just white! Anybody have a clue as to why? What can I do? But the good news is, I can post them this way, so here we go!
Lily turned the big 6 years old on the 17th, and we had her party the following Sunday.
The day before was the snow storm (HA, lasted a couple of hours) so we had fun for a little while out in the wet cold with the girls, will post those pictures soon, maybe tomorrow! I was all excited about the snow, could not sleep, kept wanting to get up and peek out the window. We did get to build a snowman, he was pretty sad. Did not get to make snow ice cream, it melted too quick, but there's always next year, right?
Onto the party girl. She was super excited about her party, and for weeks, was counting down the days, or shall I say how many more sleeps. I can not believe it has been six years since I first held her in my arms. She is growing up so fast, and will soon be taller than me, which won't take too long, Hee, hee! Makes me sick, she's so skinny, with the longest legs! That's alright though, DH has the guns ready to clean, you know when she's like 30 and is able to start dating.

Just a quicky!

NO NOT THAT! Shame on ya'll!
Well, DH gave me a new computer for Christmas, since my old one was slowly dying, but for some reason, it could not connect to the internet, until now. This is the reason for no posts! I will have to come back and fill in later with pictures and all, but wanted to do a quick post, cause now (the day we finally get my computer fixed) we are shutting the whole thing down. I am going to be painting my Hubby's office this weekend, and we've got to clear it all out! Once I paint, I will be putting down the hardwood floor, so I don't know when we will have everything back to operation mode again. I finished (almost, except for decor) the den, and it looks amazing, whole new house! I'm so excited and want to show it off, but will have to wait till later. I put hardwood in there, and our new leather couches came Wednesday, and another little surprise. It makes the rest of the house look so crappy, I want to hurry and knock down the walls in the front, to finish it all! Pictures and more to come later, ya'll have a GREAT weekend!!!
